Now of its strophic verses there are ninety thousand, three hundred, and ninety-six.
This has been sung in a verse:
"Ninety thousand are its strophic verses, and three hundred, and ninety, and six beside;
praised together with them, Prajāpati goes shining forth through the past and future world."
So it is.
Now of its words there are four thousand, thirty ten-thousands [three hundred thousand], seven hundred, and fifty words.
This has been sung in a verse:
"Four thousand, thirty ten-thousands, seven hundred, and fifty words
belong to the year praised by the wise poets; such is the intermediate divine measure."
So it is.
