Its pṛṣṭha is the Rathantara.
The Rathantara is food.
Moreover, one should give abundant cooked food at this [rite].
Those creatures, seeing food, turn toward him.
Prajāpati created the sacrifice.
He handed it over to the gods.
Having given away the sacrifice, he considered himself emptied.
He considered: ‘How now may I call this sacrifice back to myself?’
He sacrificed with this very sacrifice.
By it he called it back to himself.
In that he called it back to himself [upāhvayata], that too is the Upahavya nature of the Upahavya.
Therefore, one whom sacrifice does not favor, even having sacrificed once, should sacrifice with this.
Sacrifice has indeed departed from him.
One whom sacrifice does not favor, even having sacrificed once, by this [rite] he calls it back to himself.
Sacrifice favors him who knows thus.
