He gives seventeen of each age.
Prajāpati, indeed, is seventeenfold.
This sacrifice belongs to Prajāpati, for the attainment of Prajāpati.
His morning pressing is undefined.
Prajāpati, indeed, is undefined.
This sacrifice belongs to Prajāpati, for the attainment of Prajāpati.
The midday pressing has [the word] "vāja" [in it].
For this is the Vājapeya.
The third pressing has [the word] "citra" [in it].
For this is the most wondrous sacrifice.
With "Born high is thy juice...", the Gāyatrī verses of the Midday Pavamāna contain [the word] "juice".
Food, indeed, is juice.
Thereby, right at the opening of the pavamāna [laud], they furnish him, who has pressed [soma], with proper food.
