They found it through Viṣṇu as the deity on the tenth [day];
therefore the tenth sacrificial offering of this sacrifice is poured out for Viṣṇu,
for they found it on the tenth [day].
He has crept along to the tenth [day],
for they found it on the tenth [day].
There are ten cups,
for they found it on the tenth [day].
Ten by ten they creep along behind each cup,
for they found it on the tenth [day].
He who has ten generations uninterrupted from drinking soma is the performer of the partaking,
for they found it on the tenth [day].
Having found it, they kindled [fire] around it with Agni;
the Maruts blew;
with the Śrāyantīya [sāman] they tempered it;
that is the Śrāyantīya quality of the Śrāyantīya.
Its Bahiṣpavamāna is on the verses of the Yajñāyajñīya;
for the verses of the Yajñāyajñīya are Agni;
with Agni itself they kindle [fire] around it.
