On this [day] they seize this sacrificial horse. And because it has the twenty-one-fold as its pṛṣṭha, it is therefore called Govinata. The thirty-three-fold recurring stoma belongs to the third day. Thirty-three indeed are the deities, thirty-three are the worlds of the gods; it is these that they ultimately reach and mount upon. Now, for the one whose rite has the fifteen-fold Agniṣṭoma, the fifteen-fold Ukthya, and the fifteen-fold Atirātra: one desirous of ruling power (kṣatra) should sacrifice with this. The horse is kṣatra, the fifteen-fold [stoma] is kṣatra, the sacrifice is kṣatra; this is made identical in characteristic with that. With this very rite Ṛṣabha Yājñatura, the Śvaitna king, sacrificed when desiring to be sole ruler. Having sacrificed, he became the sole ruler of the Śvitnas. He who might desire prosperity should sacrifice with this. Kṣatra is prosperity; this is a sacrifice of kṣatra; he attains prosperity.
