The even-numbered stomas are unpropitious for cattle, as it were, for they are smooth, as it were, equal, as it were.
In that they append a threefold stoma, it is for pairing, for propagation.
From an uneven and abundant pair, offspring and cattle are propagated.
He propagates with offspring and cattle who knows thus.
This earth was without light, as it were, without world.
She desired: 'May I develop a variegated form.'
She saw this mantra:
'This speckled cow has stepped forward...'
Then this earth developed a variegated form.
He develops a variegated form with offspring and cattle who knows thus.
Then they say: 'Upward indeed do they mount to the heavenly world who sacrifice;
they are capable of falling beyond toward the front.'
In that they chant upon the Sarparājñī verses—for she is the Serpent Queen—in her alone do they become established.
For she is the queen of crawling things.
A reptile does not injure him who knows thus.
