sa pratigarasasudgīthastadāśrāvaṇam
tasmādomiti praṇautyomiti pratyāgṛṇātyomityudgāyatyomityāśrāvayati
etadvā asti yadabhavat
tāmabravīdetarhi vai tasmā alaṃ svo yatprajanayevehi prajanayāveti
tāmabravītsaṃbhava chandāṃsi tvaṃ prajanayatātstomānahaṃ prajanayiṣyāmīti
so'yaṃ trivṛtstomaścaturviṃśatiṃ stotryāḥ prāyanayat
atha gāyatrī caturviṃśatimakṣarāṇi prajāyata
tāmabravīdvibhava yāvatyasi tāvatyedhīti
sāṣṭākṣarā satyakṣarāṇi tryakṣarāṇyakuruta
tāni caturviṃśatirabhavan
caturviṃśatiḥ pūrvāṇi
tadasyā aṣṭācatvāriṃśatprajātamāsīt
seyaṃ gāyatrī catvāryakṣarāṇyādatta
soṣṇigabhavat
ṣaḍitara ādatta
