Therefore, dividing into two, another caller goes out. It practiced heat together with this mind. Mind indeed is heat. Practicing heat, it emitted speech. With these two it praised: "They are mine (sto me), they are mine (sto me)." Because it said "they are mine" (sto me), that is the stoma-nature of the stoma. His own kin praise through him, saying "this is our best," whoever knows this thus. Those two became these two stomas, the outward-turned and the inward-turned. They are out-breath and in-breath; they are day and night; they are the waxing fortnight and the waning fortnight; they are these two worlds; they are Indra and Agni; they are Mitra and Varuṇa; they are the Aśvins; they are the divine pair; whatever pair exists here, they became that. Those two indeed came into being inside Prajāpati. Then this mind mounted speech. A golden embryo, immortal, was laid. Fire indeed is this death. When they cast gold into it, it becomes more auspicious. That embryo was born. As it was born, they cleaned it, just as a mother licks a newborn calf.
