Jaiminīya Upaniṣad Brāhmaṇa 3.42.2

3.42.2

tad etad amṛtaṃ gāyatram atha yāny anyāni gītāni kāmyāny eva tāni kāmyāny eva tāni /
saptame 'nuvāke pañcamaḥ khaṇḍaḥ /
saptamo 'nuvākas samāptaḥ //

Now this gāyatra chant is immortal. But whatever other songs there are, they are only for desired ends, they are only for desired ends.
[This is] the fifth subsection in the seventh section.
