Regarding this they say: 'By means of the hiṃ-sound Prajāpati created food for creatures.
If he were not to utter the hiṃ-sound, creatures would be hungry.
He should indeed utter the hiṃ-sound:
"bhūḥ".'
In that he does not emit the [bare] hiṃ-sound, thereby he does not cut off the seed, nor does he omit the hiṃ-sound.
Regarding this they also say: 'Seed is softer, as it were, than this; the hiṃ-sound is harder, as it were.
One might cut it off even with a hair.'
At the very time of the hiṃ-sound, he should mentally meditate on the hiṃ-sound.
Thus he does not cut off the seed, nor does he omit the hiṃ-sound.
He makes 'bhūḥ' the finale.
When Prajāpati spoke in the beginning, he spoke just 'bhūḥ'.
He created this [earth].
In that he makes 'bhūḥ' the finale, he firmly establishes this seed in this [earth], and also brings it to prosperity.

1.101.p14
He makes 'jyotis' the finale.

The eye is light.
1.101.p16
