2-2.11
Now Āryakacit used to say: 'This entire day should be made twenty-four-fold; they should make only this one stotra twenty-five-fold. It is indeed an overreaching of a single stotra when they make the whole [day] twenty-five-fold; thus this stotra would not be overreached.' But Śāṭyāyani said regarding this: 'It is like falling into a pit when it is cut off by even one stotriyā verse, or by two, or by three. For that indeed they may find an expiation or they may not; then what when it is cut off by eleven? What is the expiation for that? Indeed, this day has a single deity: it belongs to Prajāpati alone. He serves Prajāpati through this day. Therefore, this entire day should be made twenty-five-fold.' Its stotriyā verses are three hundred and sixty-two. There, the three hundred are the virāj; then the sixty are the udder; and the two are the two teats, for the milking of this very day.
