2-7.195

Moreover, [it is] supremacy;
for the Yajñāyajñīya is supremacy;
he thus establishes him in supremacy.
Then the Sākamaśva, the heavenly sāman, for the attainment of the heavenly world.
Then the Saubhara, the brilliance of the Bṛhat [sāman];
[it is used] so that our praise may be chanted with the brilliant Bṛhat.
Then the Nārmedha, the Atirātra-sāman; [it is] the Atirātra-sāman, lest they should omit [it].
Moreover, cattle, indeed, are the Nārmedha, just for the attainment of cattle.
Then the Ṣoḍaśin, so that whatever desire is in the Ṣoḍaśin may be obtained by me.
Then the Bṛhat is on the verses containing [the epithet] Śipiviṣṭa.
Mind, indeed, is the Bṛhat;
mind is Prajāpati.
This is the seventeenth of the stotras;
this stoma is seventeenfold;
Prajāpati, indeed, is seventeenfold;
Prajāpati is the heavenly world;
that is prosperity;
thereby in the end they establish him in Prajāpati, in the heavenly world, in prosperity.
