2-8.384

Other sāmans are the food of the Anuṣṭubh;
the Anuṣṭubh is the food of the other sāmans.
The sāmans that are advanced and set back are the food of the Anuṣṭubh.
Those who deprive it of these, to them this speech speaks, undecorated, displeased, unrecognized, personal:
'They have confused the seasons; lacking faith, they have sacrificed; they have not succeeded.'
Now, those who furnish it with these, to them this speech speaks, satisfied, pleased, recognized, personal:
'They have arranged the seasons properly; having faith, they have sacrificed; they have succeeded.'
Day after day the Sujñāna is [performed].
He indeed, as Udgātṛ, would consecrate the session-sacrificers for a sacrificial session, if he were to cause them to ascend to the divine territory of the gods.
Having ascended to the divine territory of the gods, one indeed does not fear, does not hunger, does not thirst,
does not suffer distress.
The Sujñāna is indeed the divine territory of the gods.
Regarding this they say: 'They fall away, as it were, from this world who day after day undertake the Sujñāna.'
When it is a Rathantara day, on that [day] they should undertake the Pauṣkala; on a Bārhata day, the Sujñāna.
Regarding this, moreover, they say: 'All these forms are verily in the Sujñāna.'
'Suvarvidaḥ' is the form of this world; 'e' of the intermediate space; 'suvar' of yonder [world].

Redundant are these days which belong to the ahīna sacrifice.

Being themselves redundant, they proceed placing the redundant sap of the brahman.

With 'e', they float across the intermediate space.
