20.102
On them [they sing] the Śaiśava. The Śaiśava is indeed peace. In that they praise with the Śaiśava, it is solely for peace. Moreover, they say: 'By means of the Śaiśava, turning round, Indra slew Vṛtra with the Śakvarī verses.' That indeed is the Śaiśava-nature of the Śaiśava. And it slays rivals. He who knows this slays his hateful rival. Prajāpati's eye swelled; it fell away. He desired: 'May my eye re-enter me.' He saw this sāman; with it he praised. Thereupon the eye re-entered him. Becoming a pure horse, it re-entered him. That light is indeed the eye; light indeed then entered him. So this sāman brings sight. His eye does not fail until old age, who knows this.
