Mantrabrahmana 1.1.15

1.1.15

parā-etu mṛtyuṣ a-mṛtam me ā-agāt
vaivasvatas nas a-bhayam kṛṇotu /
param mṛtyo anu-parā=ihi panthām
yatra nas anyas itaras deva-yānāt /
cakṣuṣmate śṛṇvate te bravīmi
mā nas prajām rīriṣas mā uta vīrān // svāhā //

May death depart; immortality has come to me;
may Vaivasvata grant us freedom from fear!
Go far away, O death, along the path
which is another for us, distinct from the path of the gods!
To you who have eyes and who hear, I say:
do not harm our offspring, nor our heroes! // svāhā
