sam-grahaṇa sam-gṛhāṇa
ye jātās paśavas mama /
pūṣā eṣām śarma yacchatu
yathā jīvantas api-ayān //
O gatherer, gather together
the cattle that are born of mine.
May Pūṣan bestow protection upon them,
so that they may return alive.
