tadvai devā na jajñuḥ | ta ṛtavo deveṣvajānatsvasurānupāvartantāpriyāndevānāṃ dviṣato bhrātṛvyān
The gods, however, did not approve of this. The gods not approving, the Seasons went to the Asuras, the malignant, spiteful enemies of the gods.
