śreṣṭhatamāya karmaṇa iti | yajño vai śreṣṭhatamaṃ karma yajñāya hi tasmādāha śreṣṭhatamāya karmaṇa iti
'--To the most glorious work!' for assuredly the sacrifice is the most glorious work: hence, when he says 'to the most glorious work!' he means to say 'to the sacrifice.'
