sa yaḥ sa prajāpatirvyasraṃsata saṃvatsaraḥ so'tha yānyasya tāni parvāṇi vyasraṃsantāhorātrāṇi tāni
Now, that Pragâpati who became relaxed is the year; and those joints of his which became relaxed are the days and nights.
