atha pañcamī pañcāsapatnāścatvāriṃśadvirāja ekayā na triṃśatstomabhāgāḥ pañca nākasadaḥ pañca pañcacūḍā ekatriṃśaccandasyā aṣṭau gārhapatyo citiraṣṭau punaścitirṛtavye viśvajyotirvikarṇī ca svayamātṛṇā cāśmā pṛśniryaścite'gnirnidhīyate tā aṣṭātriṃśaṃ śatam pañcamī citiḥ

Then the fifth (layer):--five asapatnâs, forty virâgs, twenty-nine stomabhâgâs, five nâkasads, five pañkakûdâs, thirty-one khandasyâs, eight (of) the Gârhapatya hearth, eight (of) the Punaskiti, two seasonal ones, a visvagyotis, a vikarnî, a naturally-perforated one, the variegated stone, the fire which is placed on the altar--these one hundred and thirty-eight are (in) the fifth layer.
