te vai prājāpatyā bhavanti brahma vai prajāpatirbrāhmo hi prajāpatistasmātprājāpatyā bhavanti
These (eight) are sacred to Pragâpati, Pragâpati assuredly is the Brahman, for Pragâpati is of the nature of the Brahman: therefore they are sacred to Pragâpati.
