āśvamedhikam madhyamam pañcamamaharbhavati tasminnaśvam medhyamālabhate'śvamedhasyaivāptyai
The fifth day is a central Âsvamedhika one: at this (sacrifice) he seizes a horse meet for sacrifice, for the sake of his gaining the sacrificial essence of the horse.
