sūryasya tvā tapasa iti eṣa vai sūryo ya eṣa tapatyeṣa pravargyastadetamevaitatprīṇāti tasmādāha sūryasya tvā tapasa iti
'For Sûrya's heat thee!'--Sûrya, doubtless, is he who shines yonder, and the Pravargya also is that one: it is him he thus gratifies, and therefore he says, 'For Sûrya's heat thee.'
