sa dakṣiṇaṃ sakṛdyajuṣānakti | sakṛttūṣṇīmathottaraṃ sakṛdyajuṣānakti dvistūṣṇīṃ taduttaramevaitaduttarāvatkaroti
The right eye he anoints once with the sacrificial formula, once silently; and the left one he anoints once with the formula, twice silently: thus he makes the left (or upper) one superior.
