tāḥ ṣaṭsampadyante | ṣaḍvā ṛtavaḥ saṃvatsarasya saṃvatsarasyaivaitadrūpaṃ kriyate saṃvatsaramevaitatsaṃskaroti
These amount to six; for, there being six seasons in the year, it is thereby made of the form of the year: he thus makes up the year.
