tā vā etāḥ | saptadaśāpaḥ sambharati saptadaśo vai prajāpatiḥ prajāpatiryajñastasmātsaptadaśāpaḥ sambharati
These then are seventeen (kinds of) water he brings together, for Pragâpati is seventeenfold, and Pragâpati is the sacrifice: that is why he brings together seventeen kinds of water.
