pādamātrī bhavati | pratiṣṭhā vai pāda iyamu vai pratiṣṭhā tryālikhitā bhavati trivṛddhīyam
It measures a foot (in length and breadth), for the foot is a foundation, and this earth also is a foundation. It is marked with three lines, for this earth is threefold.
