api ha smāha śāṭyāyaniḥ | sphoṭatorhaikaḥ pakṣayorupaśuśrāvaitenābhimṛṣṭasya tasmādenametenābhyeva mṛśediti
Sâtyâyani also once said, 'Some one heard (the sound) of the cracking wings of the (altar)-when touched with this (formula): let him therefore by all means touch it therewith!'
