suhastáḥ suvāsā́ḥ /
śūṣó nā́māsy amṛ́to mártyeṣu /
táṃ tvā_aháṃ táthā véda /
ásāv éhi //
agnír me vācí śritáḥ /
vā́g ghṛ́daye /
hṛ́dayaṃ máyi /
ahám amṛ́te /
amṛ́taṃ bráhmaṇi //
vāyúr me prāṇé śritáḥ /

Fair-handed, well-clad, / Vigor by name are you, immortal among mortals. / Knowing you as such, I [say]: / O So-and-so, come! / Agni is supported in my speech; / speech in the heart; / the heart in me; / I in the immortal; / the immortal in the sacred word. / Vāyu is supported in my out-breath;
