yád ródasī réjamāne bhū́miś ca nirátakṣatam |
ārdráṃ tád adyá sarvadā́ samudrásyeva śrotyā́ḥ ||3||
What the (two) quaking firmaments (ródasī)—and the earth—fashioned out, that at present is always wet, like the streams of the ocean.
