stómā āsan pratidháyaḥ kurī́raṃ chánda opaśáḥ |
sūryā́yā aśvínā varā́gnír āsīt purogaváḥ ||8||
The laudations (stóma) were the cross-pieces (?? pratidhí); meter was the kurī́ra, the opaçá; of Sūryā the Açvins were the wooers, Agni was the forerunner.
