[4.13]a) tásmai dhruvā́yā diśáḥ | [13]
[4.14]b) haimanáu mā́sau goptā́rāv ákurvan bhū́miṃ cāgníṃ cānuṣṭhātā́rau | [14]
[4.15]c) haimanā́v enaṃ mā́sau dhruvā́yā diśó gopāyato bhū́miś cāgníś cā́nu tiṣṭhato yá eváṃ véda ||5|| [15]

⌊13.⌋ For him, from the fixed quarter, ⌊14.⌋ they made the two winter months guardians, and earth and fire attendants. ⌊15.⌋ The two winter months guard from the fixed quarter, and earth and fire attend, him who knoweth thus.
