jāṅgiḍó 'si jaṅgiḍó rákṣitāsi jaṅgidáḥ |
dvipā́c cátuṣpād asmā́kaṃ sárvaṃ rakṣatu jaṅgidáḥ ||1||
Jan̄giḍá art though, jan̄giḍá; defender art thou, jan̄giḍá; what of ours is two-footed, four-footed—let jan̄giḍá defend it all.
