índra tvā vr̥ṣabháṃ vayáṃ suté sóme havāmahe |
sá pāhi mádhvo ándhasaḥ ||1||
Thee, Indra, we invoke, the Bull, what time the Soma hath been pressed.
Drink of the sweetly-flavoured juice.
