śréṣṭham asi bheṣajā́nāṃ vásiṣṭhaṃ vī́rudhānām |
sómo bhága iva yā́meṣu devéṣu váruṇo yáthā ||2||
Thou art the most excellent of remedies, the best of plants; as Soma, lord (? bhága) in the night-watches (yā́ma), like Varuṇa among the gods.
