pári ṇo vr̥ṅgdhi śapatha hradám agnír ivā dáhan |
śaptā́ram átra no jahi divó vr̥kṣám ivāśániḥ ||2||
Avoid us, O curse, as a burning fire a pond; smite our curser here, as the bolt from heaven a tree.
