iṣṭáṃ ca vā́ eṣá pūrtáṃ ca gr̥hā́ṇām aśnāti yáḥ pū́rvó 'tither aśnā́ti ||31||
Verily both what is sacrificed and what is bestowed of the houses doth he partake of who partakes before a guest.
