nāham etat karma prājñāsiṣam iti /
For truly, apart from intelligence the two hands would not make cognizant of any action whatsoever. 'My (me) mind was elsewhere,' one says (āha); 'I (aham) did not cognize (prājñāsiṣam) that action.'
