bharebhareṣu tamupahvayāma prasāsahiṃ yudhmamindraṃ vareṇyam |
satrāsā[ha]mavase janānāṃ puruhūtamṛgmiṇaṃ viśvavedasam || 2 ||
In battle after battle we call upon him, the conqueror, the fighter, Indra, the choiceworthy, / the absolute victor, for the protection of people, invoked by many, praised in song, all-knowing. || 2
