tasyottarataḥ śiro dakṣiṇataḥ pādau ya uttarataḥ sa oṅkāro ya oṅkāraḥ sa praṇavo yaḥ praṇavaḥ sa sarvavyāpī yaḥ sarvavyāpī so'nanto yo'nantastattāraṃ yattāraṃ tatsūkṣmaṃ yatsūkṣmaṃ tacchuklaṃ yacchuklaṃ tadvaidyutaṃ yadvaidyutaṃ tatparaṃ brahma yatparaṃ brahma sa eko ya ekaḥ sa rudro yo rudraḥ sa īśāno ya īśānaḥ sa bhagavān maheśvaro yo bhagavān maheśvaraḥ sa bhagavān vaṭukeśvaro yo bhagavān vaṭukeśvaraḥ |

To the north of that is the head, to the south the two feet. What is to the north is the syllable Oṃ; what is the syllable Oṃ is the Praṇava; what is the Praṇava is the all-pervading; what is the all-pervading is the endless; what is the endless is the deliverer; what is the deliverer is the subtle; what is the subtle is the white; what is the white is the lightning-like; what is the lightning-like is the supreme Brahman; what is the supreme Brahman is the One; who is the One is Rudra; who is Rudra is Īśāna; who is Īśāna is the Lord Maheśvara; who is the Lord Maheśvara is the Lord Vaṭukeśvara, who is the Lord Vaṭukeśvara.
