The śālinī metre.
Where the sixth syllable becomes short, / and likewise the penultimate, O woman with a conch-shell neck! / [and] where, O slender woman, there is a caesura at the Vedas and the horses [4 and 7], / prosodists declare that [metre] to be śālinī. || 17
