sarvavidyānām apy upaniṣadām [upākṛtya-anadhyayanaṃ tad ahaḥ /
On the day on which, beginning the study of the whole sacred science, the Upanishads (and the rest, he performs the Upâkarma in the morning) he shall not study (at night).
