uttānābhyāṃ hastābhyāṃ dakṣiṇena dakṣiṇaṃ savyena savyaṃ pādāv abhivādayet
With palms turned upward, he should pay homage to the feet: with the right [hand] to the right [foot], and with the left to the left.
He should greet (his teacher) by clasping his feet with upturned hands, the right foot with the right hand and the left with the left.
