imaṃ me varuṇa tattvāyāmi tvanno agne sa tvanno agne tvamagne ayāsyayāsanmanasā hitaḥ ayāsan havyamūhiṣe ayāno dheiha bheṣajaṃ svāhā \

'Hear this of mine, O Varuṇa...'; 'For that I come to you...'; 'You, O Agni, [be nearest] to us...'; 'So you, O Agni, [be closest] to us...'; 'You, O Agni, are Ayās; as Ayās you are placed with the mind; as Ayās you have carried the oblation; as Ayās place a remedy here for us, svāhā!'
