yatrāpastad gatvāgnimupasamādhāya vyāhṛtiparyantaṃ kṛtvā juhoti imaṃ me varuṇa tattvā yāmi tvanno agne sa tvanno agne tvamagne ayāsi prajāpate yadasya karmaṇo 'tyarīricam iti ca \

Having gone where there is water, having set up the fire, and having performed [the rites] up to the mystic utterances, he offers [clarified butter with]: "Hear this [call] of mine, O Varuṇa...", "That [boon] of you I ask...", "O Agni, you to us...", "So you to us, O Agni...", "You, O Agni, are Ayās...", and "O Prajāpati, whatever of this ritual I have done in excess..."
