atha pātramādāya prāṅmukhastiṣṭhan apehi pāpman punarapanāśino bhavā naḥ pāpman sukṛtasya loke pāpman dhehyavihṛto yo naḥ pāpmanna jahāti tamu tvā jahi no vayam \

Then, taking up the vessel, standing facing the east: "Go away, O evil! Again become one that is lost to us! In the world of the righteous doer, O evil, place us, unharmed! O evil, whoever does not leave us, him indeed do we slay!
