ādīyamānamanumantrayate āyurviśvāyuḥ paripāsati tvā pūṣā tvā pātu prapathe purastāt \
While he is being taken up, he consecrates him [with the verse]: "May life full of all vital span protect you on all sides; may Pūṣan protect you in front upon the far path.
