śamīpalāśamiśrām̐ś ca lājām̐ś caturañjalimātrāñ chūrpeṇo 'pasādayanti paścād agneḥ,

They place roasted grain mixed with Samî leaves, to the amount of four handfuls, in a winnowing basket behind the fire,
