vrataṃ visṛjya \ udu tyam \ citram \ iti dvābhyāmādityamupatiṣṭhate \9\

Having (thus) discharged himself of his vow, he worships the sun with the two (verses), 'Upwards that (Gâtavedas)' (Taitt. Samh. I, 4, 43, 1), and, 'The bright' (ibid.).
