With: 'To the two Aśvins, svāhā! To the two Aśvayuj stars, svāhā! To the full moon day of Āśvayuja, svāhā! To the autumn, svāhā! To Paśupati, svāhā! To Piṅgala, svāhā!'—[with these] six [mantras he makes oblations] of the mixture of curds and clarified butter; having offered [portions] of the boiled sacrificial mess with each verse of the hymn 'The cows have come', he joins the calves with their mothers for that night. Then follows the feeding of Brahmans.
